{"id":1855,"date":"2018-05-18T15:53:57","date_gmt":"2018-05-18T20:53:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nomad.priv.at\/researchblog\/?p=1855"},"modified":"2018-05-18T15:53:57","modified_gmt":"2018-05-18T20:53:57","slug":"active-learning-strategies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.nomad.priv.at\/researchblog\/?p=1855","title":{"rendered":"Active learning strategies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since spring I have been participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saltise.ca\/projects\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saltise S4 activities<\/a> on the development of Active Learning strategies.<\/p>\n<p>While the majority of the work is focused on Organic Chemistry, I am learning a great deal about active and collaborative learning, while being able to contribute strategies for 2-stage assessments.<\/p>\n<p>I am also hoping to contribute Analytical Chemistry questions to an innovative database of questions for (self) assessment and collaborative learning (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saltise.ca\/projects\/mydalite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MYDALITE<\/a>), which not only asks for the correct answer, but also requires submission of a rationale and provides (correct and incorrect) rationales to students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since spring I have been participating in the Saltise S4 activities on the development of Active Learning strategies.
